'Orange' appeal

Who in contempo showbiz bridges the mobile phone industry's of Stanley Kubrick, "South Park" and "Star Trek"? The one and only Malcolm McDowell. The Academy of movement Picture Arts & Sciences is hosting a salute towards the maverick thesp Friday in the Samuel Goldwyn Theater. Event includes a screening of electronically restored print of "A Clockwork Orange," the 1971 Kubrick pic that McDowell into the spotlight about this side of water-feature.
